Kanthavara Forest Basecamp is a must-visit destination, blending adventure, education, science and conservation in a fun, inspiring, and unforgettable way. In May of 2023, we witnessed an illegal tree-cutting incident near our Kanthavara plantation. What began as apathy transformed into action as we worked with local environmentalist Jeeth and the forest department to halt the destruction and save three acres of pristine forest. This event marked the rebirth of our plantation as the Kanthavara Forest Basecamp_a hub for conservation and education. Our interactive programs include the Forest Walking Tour, Bamboo in construction and design study, exploring the state of India's forests, tree regeneration, and biodiversity conservation. Visitors can enjoy scenic trails, wildlife spotting, traditional meals cooked over woodfire, and cultural experiences, making it ideal for educational trips, workaways, family get-together's and eco-celebrations.
